MALFUNCTION?: Watch Biden Awkwardly PAUSE and FUMBLE Mid-Speech

by Graham Allen Team

During Monday’s speech, President Joe Biden had series of somewhat awkward gaffes.

While Biden is frequently gaffe-prone, this instance was a little different from usual.

This mishap occurred on Monday during a ceremony commemorating the 500,000 people who died from COVID-19.

One-fifth of those deaths occurred in just over a month of Biden’s presidency.

Biden opens this gaffe by addressing the mourning of the country.

“The only way to spare more pain and more loss, the only way—” Biden says before leaning on his podium.

It’s at this moment of the speech, Biden just goes silent.

Biden is seen resting on his podium with his mouth cracked open in silence, gazing into the camera.

Biden was silent for almost a total of 5 seconds, which during a Presidential address is a lot.

Most addresses like that do have emphasis and pauses, but viewers can tell something was off.

The President raised his eyebrows and stood up from leaning on the podium before picking up where he left off.

He then proceeds to call “milestones” millstones accidentally; at this point, the gaffe grew far worse.

“These millstones no longer mark our national mourning— these milestones, I should say, no longer, no longer moke— mark our national mourning,” President Biden said.

Biden stuttered and muttered to recover from this blunder until he finally got back on track.

Some users commented on Biden and his speech mishap.

“Out-performed every presidential challenger in US history…” Twitter user, Jason D. Meister wrote and mocked the President with an attached video of the speech.

As said earlier, Biden is a gaffe veteran.

The issue now is many are concerned about Biden’s mental health and strength.

Joe Biden, who turned 78 just months before his inauguration, is the most senior President to serve in the White House, which adds to many Americans’ worry.

Biden has come out and said that he does, in fact, have a stutter that he copes with daily.

The President told CNN during a town hall that he still stutters to this day.

“Still occasionally, when I find myself really tired,” Biden said.

“It has nothing to do with your intelligence quotient. It has nothing to do with your intellectual makeup,” President Biden continued.

This very well could be an instance where Joe Biden did stutter, but if you watch the video, you might think differently.

Was this a stutter-stumble of words, or was it something more serious?

We’ll let you be the judge.
