The world’s infamous billionaire, Bill Gates, is now sharing NEW thoughts on COVID-19 now that President Joe Biden is in the Oval Office.
Microsoft’s founder said that the pandemic is an “incredible tragedy” but has been more optimistic since the success of Trump’s vaccine and the vaccine roll out plan.
Gates who famously received a HUGE chunk of cash to his charity in the Democrats’ multi-trillion dollar spending bill in COVID-19 stimulus, is now A LOT more optimistic.
The COVID-19 stimulus package included a WHOPPING $1.75 to $3.5 Billion funding to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation so that they could contribute their efforts to fight COVID-19.
The Western Journal reports, on page 613 of the 628-page relief bill, contains a provision calling for the contribution of “not less than $3,500,000,000” to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which lists the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a “key partner.”
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has contributed $2.49 billion and they will donate an additional $760 million in the fiscal years of 2020 through 2022, the Western Journal reported.
Political writer and lawyer Samantha Chang stated in an article, “Ironically, Bill Gates himself expressed concern that the $1.9 trillion “relief” bill hastily cobbled together by President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats could squander taxpayer money by not tailoring the funds appropriately.”
The New York Post described the funding to be given to vaccine makers and “potential treatments.” Whether the taxpayer dollars made it to that, it is unclear at this time.
Well after Gates received that chunk of cash, his tune has change dramatically.
Before receiving taxpayer funding for his foundation Bill Gates previously said, “The government always has a hard time targeting exactly the people who are in need, and particularly if you are designing programs very quickly.”
When Donald Trump was President, Gates was incredibly judgmental to the words he was saying. Some of the quotes Bill Gates said were even hypocritical to his latest statement.
Gates claimed that Trump’s ‘attitude’ to the COVID-19 pandemic “makes people think this disease will go away—that’s the last thing we want people to think.”
The billionaire also said that Donald Trump’s method of connecting with the American people is not what he desires when it comes to a politician.
“No one expected a politician to grab the microphone in this way,” Gates said.
In his most recent statement, Gates changed his tune to a more optimistic approach with Biden in office. Keep in mind, Gates KNOCKED on Trump for being optimistic about the virus going away in the statements above.
Now Bill Gates is saying that he thinks the COVID-19 virus has almost run its course.
“By the end of 2022 we should be basically completely back to normal,” Gates told a Polish newspaper.
This statement completely CONTRADICTS the statement he made about Trump as stated earlier.
Apparently Gates is known for his optimism among Hollywood elites. However, when it came to Donald Trump’s optimism he wasn’t a fan.
Hollywood superstars like Matt Damon have spoken out about Bill Gates’ thoughts on the global crisis claiming that Bill Gates gave them inspiration when it comes to being positive.
“If you listen to him, he’s always optimistic. And and I think that is a key takeaway: To look at the trajectory of humankind … Because it’s so easy to become nihilistic and dark about this stuff,” Damon said.
“It’s, ‘We are going in the right direction, and there are solutions available’ — that’s what he says quite often … Anytime I’m in a room with him, that’s his clarion call, is that we’re moving in the right direction,” the Jason Bourne actor, Matt Damon said.
“There are solutions. This one we’re talking about: It is ready to reach hundreds of millions of people … That’s an exciting thing,” Damon added
Bill Gates’ comments are a COMPLETE shift from his tune prior to the Biden Administration. Many think this is because of the funding included in the COVID-19 package for his foundation OR because he just favors Biden more…
What do you think? Did Bill Gates just flip because of Biden or do you think his comments are sincere?
