After another slew of 2022 endorsements, Donald Trump has announced that he will be hitting the campaign trail.
This time, Trump will not be running for office, but he will be advocating for a different candidate.
Trump, who is discontent with one of the Senator’s in the State of Alaska will be hitting the road to unseat Lisa Murkowski.
“I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be – in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator, ” the former President said.
Donald Trump has expressed his grievances with Murkowski multiple times and it seems their relationship has reached a tipping point.
“She represents her state badly and her country even worse,” Trump said.
So far Trump has endorsed several candidates for reelection in 2022, but Murkowski has failed to meet his criteria.
“I will not be endorsing, under any circumstances, the failed candidate from the great State of Alaska, Lisa Murkowski,” he announced.
Trump also gave a few reasons why he was not going to be endorsing Murkowski.
“Her vote to advance radical left Democrat Deb Haaland for Secretary of the Interior is yet another example of Murkowski not standing up for Alaska,” Donald Trump added.
This summer the Senator from Alaska told the press that she found it hard to support Donald Trump during the chaos and riots.
Lisa Murkowski was also among the six Senators who voted to charge Donald Trump for the riots on January 6th.
This won’t be the first time Murkowski has had to compete extra hard during a campaign cycle.
The Alaskan Senator lost to a tea party candidate back in 2010. However, Murkowski lived to see another day.
The Senator ran a huge write-in campaign and ended up beating a Republican and Democrat in that race.
Since then, Murkowski has been a Republican who toes the line with the Democratic party.
Murkowski’s luck may have run out due to Trump’s extreme popularity among conservatives.
This could be a party divided for some Republican groups who have announced they will be endorsing any incumbent candidate even if Donald Trump is in opposition of those incumbents.
Donald Trump’s advisors have announced that Trump will be involved in a big way during the 2022 elections.
Trump has said that he will be working hard to flip any seat he can to red and he will advocate against any republican who he thinks betrayed him and the American people.
Lisa Murkowski has yet to speak out about Donald Trump’s opposition, but comments are soon to come.
Republican candidates who oppose Trump are already scrambling to find support from RINO leaders in the Republican party.
Just last week, Liz Cheney announced that Paul Ryan would be fundraising for her.
The 2022 election season is early, but certainly already heating up.
