Earlier this year, Gina Carano, who stars in Disney’s “The Mandalorian,” was fired for social media references to politics.
In a statement, Lucasfilm, which oversees the production of “The Mandalorian,” said that Gina Carano was no longer an employee and there aren’t plans for her to be in the future.
Lucasfilm went on to say, “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
The actress compared in a post the canceled culture and censorship of today’s era to the treatment of Jews during Nazi Germany’s reign.

Here’s what Mandalorian actress, Gina Carano said in her post:
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views.”
Since then, a former Democrat Senator has called the actress a ‘NAZI’ for the words she used.
It’s important to not that Gina Carano is in fact NOT a Nazi. In fact, Gina Carano is BARELY conservative.
Carano has made several posts (one of which included nudity) that advocate for women empowerment by showing off their bodies. Photos of nude people tend to not be the most “conservative” thing to do.
Gina Carano has also NEVER said anything racist, or shown any tendencies to being a Nazi sympathizer. This accusation from the FORMER Senator of North Dakota is not only harmful, it is FALSE.
The former Senator, Heidi Heitkamp, of North Dakota called out Carano and said that the actress was a Nazi and then walked it back saying she was associated with Nazi’s and White Supremacists.
Which is still false as there is no record of any of that.
Watch the video below, it even shocked the left-wing host Bill Maher:
Why have I not seen anyone talking about this? A former US Senator called @ginacarano some of the most heinous things while on Real Time with Bill Maher. How is this not slander? pic.twitter.com/34iFt1STCR

Since these allegations rose to light, Carano clapped back with some retort. Read her response below:
Here we have more of the dehumanizing phase of cancel culture.
-Repeat lies over and over until the population takes them as “truth”.
False, disturbing & disgusting language coming from a former US Senator. @HeidiHeitkamp
You knew as soon as you said it you were liable. https://t.co/O4AiHVMYFH

Carano also signaled that the Senator was “liable” for her comments which means it could result in litigation for slander.
The former Senator’s comments ultimately lessen the severity of the atrocities that occurred during the Nazi regime’s span of power.
Hitler’s band of demonic soldiers killed millions of innocent lives and to compare an actress’s comments to that, is disgusting to even say the least.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:
On the plus side, even Maher pushed back more than I expected. It’s the usual mischaracterize and ridicule. Sad, but a lot of us know the whole story.

Sue her. That’s the only way they’ll stop. Crowdfund the legal action if need be.

Who’s comments were worse? Gina Carano’s or the former Senator’s?
