Yesterday, President Joe Biden made a statement on the ever-growing scandals and allegations against New York Governor Cuomo.
Gov. Cuomo has been accused of sexual misconduct and grossly under-reporting COVID-19 deaths in New York nursing homes.
In an unscheduled Q&A session, Biden was met with the question, “Do you think Cuomo should resign?” BUT the president REFUSED call for disgraced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s resignation.
Instead, the president said to the reporters, “I think the investigation is underway, and we should see what it brings us.”
Biden and the democrats were HUGE supporters of allegations made against Brett Kavanaugh prior to any investigation and now they are flipping side when the claims are AGAINST the party they associate with.
Watch the brief interview here:
In an article released by the Associated Press, the media outlet stated that “Republicans have seized” on the Cuomo scandal.
Seized? Republicans have not ‘seized’ anything, in fact the calls for Cuomo’s resignation have now become bipartisan.
The AP wrote, “The escalating political crisis has spawned an impeachment inquiry in an overwhelmingly Democratic state, and threatens to cast a cloud over President Joe Biden’s early days in office. Republicans have seized on the scandal to try to distract from Biden’s success tackling the coronavirus pandemic and challenge his party’s well-established advantage with female voters”.
The Associated Press has gaslit Joe Biden’s response as being taken advantage of by Republicans and framing their President Joe Biden in a poor light.
Many are surprised the Associated Press decided to even run with this story because of its clear bias and lack of journalistic integrity.
One Twitter user wrote:
Can’t decide what’s more crazy about this “Republicans seize on Cuomo scandal” line — that it was published .. or that it was published in the AP, not Think Progress or an outlet that you EXPECT to gaslight. https://t.co/Q25iglwJCB

The president and Cuomo have been friends for quite some time. This is no secret.
A bipartisan group of Democratic and Republican lawmakers has demanded Cuomo’s resignation, but Cuomo refuses to “bow” to “cancel culture”.
Biden’s plain statement has been met with a heavy push back by people on Twitter, as well Democrats and Republicans alike.
An increasing number of people, including Democratic Reps. Ocasio-Cortez, Jerry Nadler, and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio have called for Governor Andrew Cuomo’s resignation.
On Friday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jerry Nadler called for their state’s governor to vacate his office as allegations of inappropriate behavior continue to emerge, Fox News reports.
At this point, approximately 90% of New York’s congressional delegation has called for Cuomo to reign or for an impeachment inquiry.
To impeach Cuomo, the State Assembly would need a majority vote, and the state senate would also need to get a two-thirds majority of court members and judges with a conviction.
New York State Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay has spearheaded a recent plan to introduce an impeachment resolution against Cuomo.
According to Fox News, the state assembly has opened an investigation that holds full subpoena power into the sexual misconduct allegations and how Cuomo’s handled nursing facilities during the pandemic.
Lindsay Boylan, one of Cuomo’s former aides, wrote on Twitter, “The governor has denied all wrongdoing, … he got on his platform today and said ‘there are many motivations of why people do things.’ He is calling up hate and speculation to be directed to his accusers. All harm and hate directed at the women sits squarely on @NYGovCuomo.”
Boylan went on to call out Biden and the Vice President to stand against Cuomo and believe her allegations but they have remained silent.
Even MORE recently, Cuomo’s controversy has grown surrounding a single picture. The picture shows Cuomo with a bottle of SOMETHING in his hand strolling around with a blanket draped around him.
Check out the picture below:
Once the picture surfaced, both Republicans and Democrats began to mock Cuomo all over social media.

Not saying he's guilty or innocent but this reminds of the poster for one of my favorite movies. pic.twitter.com/2JIiGyVcvK
