Since the vaccine roll outs improvement, many are calling for “vaccine passports.”
In short, vaccine passports would allow people to travel (internationally) with a passport in hand that proves they’ve gotten the vaccine.
Some are saying this would be a decent measure to help bring back travel for many, while others are calling this method “fascist.”
Here’s what a supporter of Vaccine Passports had to say:
***If you believe that America should be united by our PATRIOTISM and NOT divided by skin tones, click HERE to see a brand with PRO-AMERICA ideals!***
Vaccine passports are a good idea. Among other things, it will single out the still large contingent of people who refuse vaccines, who will be foreclosed from doing a lot of things their peers can do. That should help break the resistance down.

As you can see, more than TWENTY THOUSAND people agree with the tweet above.
On the other side of the aisle you have GOP up-and-comers like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who openly advocate AGAINST Vaccine Passports.
Check out the video below:
"We always said we want to provide it for all, but mandate it for none."

For those who didn’t watch the video, here are some of DeSantis’ key points:
“We are not supporting doing any vaccine passports in the state of Florida.”
“We want to provide [the vaccine] for all, but mandate it for none.”
“It is completely unacceptable for the government or the private sector to impose upon you requirements
that you show proof of vaccine to simply be able to participate in normal society.”
“People have certain liberties and certain freedoms to make decisions for themselves.”
“I also wonder, okay, then what? You’re going to give all this information to some big corporation? You want the fox to guard the henhouse?”
Sheesh. Way to go Ron DeSantis for standing up for liberty…
Here’s how some folks on Twitter are reacting:
Proud to be a Floridian

What if it’s against the religion of the business owner to allow customers to cause harm to others? I thought businesses were free to choose who they will and will not serve

Why not a passport for HIV, after all it have kill more people and is more contagious than covid?

That's discriminatory. Let's be more progressive and tolerant of other views

Absolutely. Refuse vaccines, fine. But you don’t get on an airplane/boat/public transportation or enter a country that isn’t yours. Drastic? Yep. Effective? Of course. Just get a sticker for your license/passport or whatever ID you use.

I agree. It's called "public health" for a reason. It is in the best interest of every human being on the planet that we all be vaccinated. Otherwise we'll spend the rest of our lives racing to keep up with dangerous new variants.
