BIDEN NOMINATION A MAJOR STEP TOWARD ATTACKS ON 2ND AMENDMENT….

According to sources familiar with the process, President Joe Biden intends to nominate David Chipman to head the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms reports the Washington Post.

David Chipman who is a former ATF Agent, is also a MAJOR role-player in the Gabby Gifford campaign against Gun Violence.

This comes as President Biden intends to press forward with his agenda of strong gun control which he has said could include banning assault weapons and increased background checks.

An announcement of Chipman’s nomination and an Executive Action on gun control is expected on Thursday according to US News.

The ATF is an agency mired in controversy.  They were the agency that took the lead in the Waco Siege which left 76 dead including 25 children.

They were also the agency behind the “Fast and the Furious” sting operation in which they sold guns to cartel members which eventually led to the death of a border patrol agent, and the Ruby Ridge incident which left a US Marshall dead along with a woman and child.

Many of the actions of the ATF inspired the anti government bombings in Oklahoma City which left dozens dead and injured.

Besides their many failures they also uphold some of the most unconstitutional and ridiculous federal laws.  Regulating the length of barrels and defining what types of guns are and are not allowed based on meaningless modifications.

Under Chipman’s leadership, it is entirely possible we see an attempt at confiscating potentially banned assault weapons as the Giffords Campaign intends to “regulate assault weapons”.

It is clear President Biden intends to trample upon the constitutional rights of American gun owners, and Chipman’s nomination gives him a sure ally in the Justice Department.

Could we see a return to the failures of the ATF of the past?  Nominating a former ATF official seems like an easy way to do this.

About 4% of all firearm murders gun from Assault Weapons where as a majority of gun deaths come from suicide.  Further gun regulation is not what will save lives.

Increasing mental health funding however is not a priority in the Biden Administration, without focusing on mental health in America, the gun violence in America will likely stay in place…

Do you think we need gun control?
