THE JURY’S RULING OVER DEREK CHAUVIN FINDS THE EX-COP GUILTY OF 2ND DEGREE MURDER
After almost a year of awaiting trial, the jury has officially found that ex-police officer Derek Chauvin is guilty of all charges.
The charges that Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of include second-degree murder, third degree murder and second degree manslaughter.
The jury was made up of seven women women and five men. Of the twelve jurors, three were African American men and three were African American women with two others identifying as “multi-racial.”
After three weeks of deliberation, the jury came to this conclusion in a relative “quick” fashion showing that their consensus was not severely divided.
The trial took almost three weeks and took up fourteen days of being in court. Despite hearing from bystanders, professionals and watching video evidence, multiple outlets are reporting that the jury never asked questions during their decision.
This is yet another MAJOR hint that the jury had known their conclusion early on and it did not take much time deliberation.
Reports have begun to circulate on social media that rioters are beginning to come down to the courthouse in response to the verdict.
Even though the courts may have decided what “justice” is, the nation is waiting to see what the mob-rule reaction will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
One Fox News reporter, when talking about the areas surrounding the court house described it as a “ghost town” or even a “military green zone.” Businesses have boarded up their windows and doors already in preparation for the long slew of riots to come.
Now that the trial is over, America will sit on the edge of her seat to see the result and reaction of the riots that are sure to come.
