Watch: Top Democrat Tantrums After ‘Voting Rights’ Bill Fail

by Graham Allen Team

Democrats and their operatives are fuming following a Republican filibuster which derailed legislation that would permanently rig elections in their favor. The proposed bill is being deceptively called a “voting rights” bill.

There has been a relentless pressure campaign by activist armies targeting holdout Senators Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema. However, neither moderate budged on the elimination of the procedure that is the last remaining defense between America and one-party rule. This forced Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to bring the bill to a vote knowing that it was doomed.

The Orwellian-named “For the People Act” predictably ended up with a 50-50 split but Dems were unable to use their razor-thin majority with president-in-waiting Kamala Harris as the tiebreaker. This is thankfully due to rules that bills not dealing with the budget must have 60 votes in order to clear the legislative hurdle.

Chuck Schumer is hoping that the democracy-ending bill’s failure to advance will allow Dems to whip up racial hostility as a means to bring about the end of the filibuster. Their media mouthpieces and activist front groups are already rallying the troops. This dangerous gambit surely spells a summer of rioting and a possibility of even more violent crime in cities under Democrat control.

“Once again, Senate Republicans have signed their names in the ledger of history alongside Donald Trump, the big lie and voter suppression, to enduring disgrace,” spat the New York Democrat.

Schumer engaged in some gaslighting, going back to the turbulent 1960s to accuse Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and other “southern senators” of racism: “My colleagues, my colleagues, if senators 60 years ago held that the federal government should never intervene to protect voting rights, this body would have never passed the Voting Rights Act. The Republican leader uses the language and the logic of the Southern senators in the 60s who defended states’ rights, and it is an indefensible position for any senator, any senator, let alone the minority leader to hold.”

What he conveniently left out is that his own Democratic party supported slavery, Jim Crow laws, and the horrific mistreatment of black Americans that made the civil rights movement possible.

Other Senate Democrats raved in anger while demanding an end to the filibuster, which they had no problem with using during the entirety of former President Donald J. Trump’s four-year term.

Elizabeth was on the warpath, “We cannot throw our democracy over a cliff in order to protect a Senate rule that isn’t even part of the Constitution.” Tweeted Pocahontas.

Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin who once compared American troops to Nazis on the Senate floor lied that the filibuster was a “right-wing” conspiracy to prevent black people from voting.

Senator Chris Murphy who went behind Trump’s back to cut secret deals with the Iranian terrorist regime raged at Republicans, “They’ve given up on democracy. It sucks but they have. To deny this fact is suicide for our democracy.”

The term “democracy” has been used for decades to describe the regimes that have been installed in foreign countries by the intelligence apparatus. These often happen after stolen elections, murder and torture of political opposition, and drone strikes drawn up by D.C. politicians over breakfast. Coming out of the mouths of Democrats it means the complete opposite of the traditional definition.

Twitter boiled over with rage:

Glorified bartender Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once again displayed her incredible ignorance of how the American political system and especially Congress works.

Maxine Waters is as stuck on the so-called “insurrection” as she was on the Russian collusion hoax.

India-born progressive firebrand Pramila Jayapal called for an end to the filibuster to “save our democracy.”

Failed pillow salesman David Hogg grasped at straws in a futile attempt to remain relevant.

In a rare bit of honesty from a Democrat, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (NY) admitted what the “voting rights” bill is really all about – if they can’t cheat, they will be ousted from their majority next November.

Now that their power grab has been thrown into question, the real question is how far are Democrats prepared to go to retain control. Will their strident rhetoric lead to blood in the streets as it did last summer?
