Moments ago, it was officially announced that Andrew Cuomo has resigned as Governor of New York after his sexual scandals became too much to overcome.
During the bombshell press conference, Cuomo had this to say:
“The best way I can help now is if I step aside and let government get back to governing, and therefore, that’s what I’ll do.”
The end. pic.twitter.com/dso68Pfy9V

The resignation will go into effect in 14 days but some are saying more judgement is headed his way.
Between the pandemic memoir and his handling of the nursing home deaths in New York many believe that Cuomo could be in some legal trouble down the road.
Needless to say, his misconduct is bipartisan as even Joe Biden called out Cuomo and encouraged him to resign.
Many believe that Cuomo may have brokered a deal to prevent legal action by resigning but details are emerging as we speak.
This story is still developing and more details are to come be sure to check back for every breaking development, but here is some of the best reaction from Twitter:
Man! Cuomo out here!!! Wonder if his brother is gonna report on it.

The Cuomo lesson for all future Democrat politicians is that you can murder 10,000+ senior citizens and get away with it—you can even make millions of dollars for murdering them!—as long as you don’t grope anyone.

Why did it take a "Me Too" scandal and not the killing of thousands of elderly New Yorkers in nursing homes to get Andrew Cuomo to leave office?
