NO HOPE FOR KAMALA: VP Harris Polls Lower Than Vice President’s From Decades Ago

by Graham Allen Team

According to a new explosive poll, Kamala Harris has become the most unpopular vice president since at least the 1970s.

With the 2022 midterm elections right around the corner, several Democrat strategists are alarmed at Harris’ sinking poll numbers.

With Harris being so unpopular, strategists worry that she won’t be able to help Democrats campaign with and for other liberals next November.

The UK’s Telegraph reports:

Two recent polls both showed 46 percent of Americans approved of Harris, with 47 percent and 48 percent disapproving.

One of the most concerning elements for the White House is Harris’s unpopularity among young people.

An Economist/YouGov poll found 41 percent of voters aged 18-29 had an “unfavorable” view of Ms. Harris, with only 36 percent viewing her “favorably.” Harris is also struggling with Hispanic voters, possibly due to her role in leading US border policy.

Of the 48 percent in the Economist/YouGov poll who viewed the vice president “unfavorably,” the vast majority [40 percent] said they did so “very unfavorably.”

The polls also found that many Americans were not pleased with Harris’ handling of the border crisis.

It has been 90 days since Kamala Harris was named czar for the Biden border crisis.

And she has visited the U.S.-Mexico border zero times.

The disaster at the border falls primarily on Biden’s shoulders, but Harris’ lack of any action to it has taken a major toll on her public image.

Kamala Harris’ first overseas trip to Guatemala was nothing short of a total disaster.

Guatemala President Alejandro Giammattei publicly disparaged Harris and Biden’s excuses for the illegal immigration crisis plaguing the southern border.

Back in early June, Giammattei said the problem started in the White House and he is not happy with what Harris has done so far.

In an interview conducted Friday that aired Sunday on CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” Giammattei blamed the Biden administration for the surge of illegal migration from Central America and other nations.

“The message changed to, ‘We are going to reunite families and we are going to reunite children,’” Giammattei said. “The very next day the coyotes here were organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”

In an April interview with MSNBC, Giammattei said the “compassionate” messages from the Biden White House were “understood by people in our country, especially the coyotes, to tell families ‘we’ll take the children.’”

WATCH:

“And children can go, and once children are there, they will call their parents.”

The results of Biden’s presidency have been predictable: A massive crush of illegal immigrants and criminal behavior such as drug smuggling and human trafficking that has overwhelmed border protection forces.
